Pozé catering is spearheaded by Christophe Lissarrague, former owner and chef of the award winning restaurant Christophe’s on the Green in Vergennes, VT. Since 2009, Christophe has been providing catering services for special events at the University of Vermont.
With 30 years of experience from Paris to New York to Vermont at the highest level, Christophe has assembled a team of chefs, cooks, and servers to help him provide the highest quality food and impeccable service. IMPROV DINNERS
The new way to entertain: gather your favorite ingredients, invite 10 to 14 people for dinner, Christophe will come over to your kitchen and improvise a menu using your ingredients.
Timing: Christophe will arrive at 9 a.m. to see and assess the ingredients. He will then create a menu for your dinner. A couple of additional staffers will arrive in the afternoon to help prep, serve, and clean up.
Cost: $850
Includes: 3 course dinner, knife sharpening, service, and clean up.
Our improv dinner was fabulous! We supplied our favorite produce, grains and meat. Christophe made our home smell amazing all day and we were eager to eat dinner that evening. I was curious how he was going to use the grains that he chose from our pantry. They seemed like an unlikely pairing but his creativity and expertise proved me wrong. I savored every course of our meal. Not only was the meal delicious, clean up was simple. We didn’t have to do anything! Dishes, pans, utensils were all cleaned and put away. It was wonderful to eat a gourmet meal made at home and to share with our friends.

Christophe was a DREAM to work with for my husband's 50th birthday backyard dinner party. His passion for food seeps into every bite. Communication was on point. Menu planning was carefully thought-out and the execution was impressive to say the least. We employed a bourbon theme throughout the menu and as an extra surprise, Christophe whipped up bourbon chocolate truffles for dessert which sadly, I had to share with our guests. If I could leave 10 stars, I would. Poze Catering catered our wedding last weekend, and they were absolutely phonomenal. We had many dietary restrictions (gluten-free Celiac, soy-free, vegan) and regardless of these limitations, Chef Christophe offered us a menu that was more delicious, elegant, and varied than we could have possibly imagined, and far more inspired than any other caterer we contacted. Poze Catering served hors d’oeurves, a full dinner with multiple entrees, and dessert. Our guests were completely blown away and could not stop telling us how amazing the food was. In fact, the first thing my husband said to me when we began eating our meal was, “Wow, you picked the right caterer!” :-) We are so happy and incredibly thankful to Christophe and his team for making our day extra special.

HIGHLY recommend Poze Catering for anyone planning a wedding! Christophe is kind, flexible, and knowledgeable and helped us put together a wonderful menu. We had Chef Mark for our wedding and he was absolutely great- extremely professional. The team handled everything for us and the day went off incredibly smoothly! The food was delicious- we had pork loin, salmon with pesto, and stuffed peppers, all of which were cooked perfectly and our guests raved about. Very reasonable prices and worth every penny. Christophe worked with our budget and we were very glad we chose Poze!

Christophe and his team did a terrific job catering our wedding in the Northeast Kingdom. Both Christophe and one his chefs made visits to our house where the reception was going to be held in order to work out all the logistics (of which there were many since the event was at a private residence not a venue). Christophe was always prompt at responding to emails and phone calls. Communication couldn't have been easier or more professional.
Now for the food--our guests told us it was the best food they'd ever had at a wedding! If you like French food (as we do) then we highly recommend getting some of the French specialties that are available--we especially loved the chicken liver paté hors d'oeuvre. We can't recommend Pozé Catering highly enough!!

Christophe and his team could not have been more responsive to our requests, every morsel of food was exquisite, and the servers and chefs were all incredible professionals. They worked so well in our little kitchen to send out amazing hors d'oeuvres to almost 50 people. The kitchen was left just as they found it (I am sure cleaner!) and many of our guests have asked us for their contact information. I wish I had thought to take pictures of the beautiful food, all of which was chosen to meet our dietary and celebratory requests.

Excellent service in catering our son's wedding in VT which was a garden wedding. Christophe was very accommodating and willing to adapt and learn how to work with vegetarian menu that was reflective of the Bengali, Filipino and western food traditions that would go with the overall theme and feel of the wedding. His staff were very professional and hard working. Kept the kitchen of the house ( staging area) as clean as when they started. Very helpful as well in helping us pack the rest of the food.
The little touches he included like purchasing banana leaves to use as part of the serving platters and lychee fruit all added to the feel of food presentation that was respectful and caring of other cultural food traditions. It is these little touches that really demonstrate the excellent care and effort put into the catering service.
